Whitley Golf Club

A 9-hole parkland golf course in West Wiltshire who welcome all levels of players Whitley golf club is a privately owned club, established in 1992.

Located in Wiltshire between Melksham and Corsham, Whitley golf club is a family run business built on the family farm land run by Tom & Jack Nicholas.

Our relaxed club is an ideal place for beginners to learn how to play. Although many more experienced golfers have struggled to get to grips with the tight fairways, hedges and water hazards. Being a relaxed course there is no dress code - trainers and t shirts are fine!

The flat nature of the course provides an easy walk and is possible to get round in under 1.5 hours. We are a 9 hole course with two different sets of tees on each hole, some of which make the holes dramatically different. The nature of the course means that you can play a number of holes in different ways - conservatively with an iron or aggressively with the driver, herein where the challenge lies. Internal out-of-bounds, ditches, bunkers and other well placed hazards mean this course gives a true test of golf, designed in the traditional sense - accuracy is rewarded rather than distance, as is common with modern day courses.
