Dunfermline Golf Club

18 Hole Par 72 Course, 9 Hole Par3 Course, Driving Range, Short Game Area & Two Putting Greens

The Dunfermline Golf Club, sometimes referred to as Pitfirrane Golf Club, was founded in 1887 and has relocated three times since the early days. Thanks to recent, extensive repairs the clubhouse is now a golden landmark in the local countryside. J.R. Stutt of Paisley designed the undulating and rather testing parkland course and there are no fewer than five par fives, the largest of which is the 480-yard 18th, Halkett's Hame.

At times it can be a daunting task making par, but a challenge and a bit of fun nonetheless. The five par threes are stunning, with the 13th and 16th being perfect examples.

In addition to the 18 hole course the club has a 9 hole, par 3 course which is ideal for beginners, young or the more mature, and for everyone to sharpen up on those shorter shots. The Club's practice facilities are among the finest with a large range adjacent to the 18th fairway, a short game area and two putting greens.
