Pure Hydration join the UK Golf Federation as Corporate Partners – Bringing a hydration solution for Golf Courses that reduces single use bottled water waste
Pure Hydration (PH), established over 25 years ago, produces World Class Military Grade technology, used by the UK MOD, now repurposed to deliver safe and clean drinking water for golfers. PH’s on-course products ensure that all golfers can hydrate at various points on and off the course, via their hydration stations, which deliver clean, pure tasting water, free from contaminants. Their bottles and filters ensure golfers can also enjoy safe, pure water on the go wherever they are in the world.

A recent survey in the UK showed 700 rounds are played every week, per golf club. Extrapolating this across the 3400 U.K. golf clubs (adjusting for region, club numbers and weather) one person using one bottle per round adds up to 1.2 million P.E.T. plastic bottles going to land fill. By installing dedicated Hydration Stations at key points on and off the golf course this enables golfers to access filtered water without the need to purchase single-use plastic bottles – resulting in a huge saving and significantly helping our environment.

Jon Grant, CEO of Pure Hydration, commented "Pure Hydration is a world leading manufacturer of water purification and dispensing equipment and is an important supplier to U.K and foreign governments. We are delighted to be working with the UKGF and see this is a perfect partnership to highlight to the golfing community the importance of providing pure, safe, great tasting drinking water and to promote the importance of healthy hydration to all golfers, while critically, at the same time reducing or ridding completely single use plastic water bottles from the environment by using our unique technologies.”

Douglas Poole, CEO of The UK Golf Federation, believes, "Partnering with Pure Hydration and highlighting their innovative technology showcases the UKGF’s intentions to promote a more sustainable way of living, something that needs to be at the forefront of the golf industry, with hydration as an import part of performance and wellbeing and this easy access to pure water can only be good for golf.”
