Half Hourly Metered electricity supplies are now regularly achieving rates
significantly below 20p/kWh and gas supplies seeing rates at 3.5p/kWh -
4p/kWh.
However, the rate in which prices are falling has slowed as we head into
Spring and the market starts assessing how well prepared the UK is for next
winter. This, coupled with rising tensions in the Middle East means we may be
approaching the floor for energy prices in 2024.
If any business has an energy contract ending in the next 12-18 months it
would be worthwhile conducting a thorough review of the prices available
from suppliers. Thus giving you the option to potentially secure a saving in
the current climate, reducing costs when the current contract ends.
