The course, adjoining Northumberland National Park, benefits from spectacular views of the Coquet Valley and the distant Cheviot Hills, and is bounded by the Simonside Hills, the village itself, the Cragside estate and the meandering River Coquet.

As well as being awarded Junior Golfmark status, Rothbury Golf Club is an accredited HSBC Golf Roots centre and were proud to be named as ‘Golf Roots Centre of the Year (NE region) 2013/14’ in recognition of our work encouraging youngsters into golf.
