Dereham Golf Club can be found on the outskirts of the town on the B1146 to Fakenham and Holt.

Its unique appeal as a 9-hole course is enhanced by 17 very different tee positions.

A perfect example of this variation is the 5th hole which on the front nine is played at 432 yards, par 4, stroke index 1 whilst on the back nine it becomes the 14th, a par 5, 515 yards with a stroke index of 6. The course played as eighteen holes measures 6099 yards and is a challenge for all levels of competence.

The Club's existence dates back to 1934 and has a comfortable, traditional style clubhouse which overlooks the first tee and the final green. There is a spacious lounge bar and a separate dining area where bar snacks and meals are available.
