Bonar Bridge & Ardgay Golf Club

9 Hole Par68 Course, Practice Facilities
On 29th of September 1904 Mrs Carnegie of Skibo opened Bonar Bridge, Ardgay Golf Club.  Set in some of the most spectacular scenery in Sutherland with Rolling Hills, Purple Heather, Scots pine and views over Loch Migdale. Peter Alliss describes Bonar ''as a mini Gleneagles''.

Bonar Bridge, Ardgay
Golf Course has been voted the most picturesque 9 hole course in Scotland

The club extends a warm Highland welcome to all, and only 45 minutes north of Inverness on the Struie road.  Which offers you the chance to see one of Sutherlands most famous sights ‘'The Million Dollar view‘'.

The course has something for everyone no matter what your ability. Practice facility with two nets, bunker and putting green offers you the chance to have a good warm up before taking on the course.

A nine-hole blend of heath and moorland, Bonar Bridge is generally considered one of the most beautiful courses in the Highlands. The narrow tree-lined fairways require straight driving, while the small, hard-to-read greens will confuse even the most gifted of players.

The surrounding heather-laden terrain provides a wonderful backdrop to this easy-walking course. The par three third is the signature hole. Although not terribly hard, it has to be one of the most enjoyable par threes in the Highlands as views down to Loch Migdale, with the hills in the background, are unforgettable.
