Ashburnham Golf Club
A few miles west of Llanelli, Ashburnham Golf Club in Carmarthenshire is an ideal base for exploring golf in South Wales. Host to a number of prestigious tournaments, including two British PGA Championships, Ashburnham has always welcomed visitors to sample its delights.
We are sure will enjoy the links experience that this historic venue provides, and that the stunning scenery and warm welcome you find here will endorse six-time Open champion Harry Vardon’s comment that "The course I like best in Wales is Ashburnham.”
Off the course, our friendly staff provide both members and guests alike with a warm welcome and offer a full bar service together with a varied menu from light snacks to a full dinner.
With views across the course to the Gower coastline beyond, the lounge is the perfect place to relax into an armchair or perhaps you’d rather enjoy a drink on the terrace discussing your Golfing Wales experience in the afternoon sun.
One of the finest Welsh links courses; we celebrated our centenary in 1994 by hosting the Amateur Home Internationals. The Welsh Open PGA was hosted at the Ashburnham Golf Club in 2010, this being testament to the continued superb standard of our course. This has been the latest in a long line of important tournaments held here since 1900’s .
Members and Visitors alike appreciate the true links experience that this historic venue provides, and together with the stunning scenery and a warm welcome offered in the clubhouse makes Ashburnham an experience not to be missed.
