Abersoch Golf Club
18 Hole Par69 Course, Pro Shop, Putting Green
Abersoch is a hidden golfing gem nestling behind ancient sand dunes. This 18 hole course has a mixture of both links and parkland with many testing holes and wonderful views overlooking Cardigan Bay and the Snowdonia mountain range.
Take for example the signature 246 yard par 3, 3rd hole with elevated tee and panoramic views requiring an accurate drive over both gorse and a water hazard to a sloping green with a bunkers waiting. Follow that with links holes hugging the coastline and contoured over a century ago through huge, natural sandunes, accuracy is key here as wayward drives are punished.
The unique microclimate offers golf 365 days a year. Located in the 'welsh riviera' Abersoch, North Wales with plenty of summer sun, sea, sand and lively nightlife. Why not make a short break of it? A full day of Golf, a meal and a couple of drinks at the clubhouse then hit the village bars and clubs!Designed by Harry Varden in 1907 and opened in 1908. The sandy soil and the unique microclimate ensures golf for 365 days a year.
