Inverness Golf Club

18 Hole Par69 Course, Pro Shop, Practice Facilities

Inverness Golf Club was founded in 1883 and the course was designed by George Smith and J Fraser with later alterations being made by James Braid. The clubhouse was built in 1997 and consists of an upstairs lounge and dining room offering views across the 1st tee and all the way back up the 18th. The facilities on offer for members and visitors are second to none; they include a short game practice area, superb putting green and a large practice ground for you to loosen up on.

Practice Range

Why not hit a few practice shots before that ‘bounce’ game with your friends, your coach or your competition round? Here we have one of our younger members with Ross getting some swing tips.
At Inverness Golf Club you will practice on grass during the summer season with plenty of space available to hit some balls before you go on the course. A great way to get your ball striking in shape before you hit that first tee shot!

Short game

At Inverness Golf Club we also have a short game area to practice your ‘up and downs’ around the greens and in the bunkers. To finalise your preparation there is also a large putting green next to the first tee in near the clubhouse.
