The course is renowned for its beautifully manicured appearance, undulating greens and beautiful views and surroundings. In recent years the course has benefitted from the installation of a new fairway drainage system, allowing play when other courses have been closed in adverse weather conditions. 

Set in the beautiful Beauchief Estate, the course was designed by the famous architect Herbert Fowler, also renowned for other such designs as Walton Heath and The Berkshire. Fowler's design ethos of strategy and reward are apparent.

Our large practice area ensures there is always space for lessons and practice. An enclosed area is offered for coaching to ensure you can keep your lessons going whatever the weather, and a well contoured practice chipping green and green side bunker is available to target the short game skills.
