18 Hole Par70 Course, Pro Shop

Colchester Golf Club has been voted the No.1 course in North Essex.

It was founded in 1907 with our beautiful, tree-lined course designed by none other than 5-times Open Champion James Braid.

The course is 6,357 yards long with two par-5s, four par-3s and a par of 70 (73 for ladies).

We are a non-profit making members club, owned and run by the members for the benefit of the members and the local community.

Situated one mile north of the town, Colchester Golf Club's fast-running, well established fairways provide a wonderful test of golf. We have more than 70 bunkers to catch out your wayward shots and, best of all, our subtly-contoured greens are acknowledged as some of the very best in the County. They run fast and slick all year round. You will love the challenge!

Our beautiful, tree-lined, 18-hole course was founded in 1907, designed by none other than 5-times Open Champion James Braid.

The parkland course is 6,357 yards long with two par-5s, four par-3s and a par of 70 (73 for ladies).

With a pleasant terrain, short walks between green and tee, and a sunny climate, this is a lovely place to be and to play golf. The condition of the course is excellent thanks to the hard work and care put into it by the green keeping staff under the expert eye of our Course Manager, Keith Chinnery. This is reflected by the Club hosting numerous prestigious events such as the Essex Open (PGA), the Essex Amateur Championship, the East Anglian Amateur Championship and the prestigious Eastern Region PGA Championship and the Eastern Region Championship Pro-Am.

Colchester Golf Club is a great place to test your game.
