Strathmore Golf Club

18 Hole Par72 Course, 9 Hole Par27 Course, Practice Facilities

Set in the heart of the Strathmore valley, Strathmore Golf Centre was opened in 1996 by Kathryn Marshall and has quickly matured and gained a reputation as the "Friendly Place to Play Golf".

The centre has something for everyone, the 18-hole Rannaleroch Course and the 9-hole Leitfie Links, 10 bay covered golf range, golf academy and a friendly atmosphere in the clubhouse. Memberships are available or pay as you play.

The par 72, Rannaleroch course has generous fairways, rolling greens and is a challenge to good golfers while forgiving for the "not so good".

The 9-hole Leitfie Links is ideal for beginners or for a quick round if you are short for time.

At Strathmore Golf Centre visitors, groups and societies are welcomed throughout the year. Corporate golf days are a speciality. Please note that we operate a dress code to which all golfers must adhere.

Our Silver Ball Savers are available all year. A great way to play Rannaleroch as well as enjoy some great hospitality. Please contact us for details.

Practice Areas

Our large putting green is situated slightly to the left of the Clubhouse behind the first Tee. It has been specially prepared to compliment the subtle borrows of the greens on the course. A few practice sessions here can result in much improved scores.

For vital honing of the short-game, we have a practice bunker and chipping area adjacent to the 12th Green. The putting area included, will test your ability to complete more ‘up & downs’.

The practice range is situated opposite the bunker and chipping area with designated areas for long hitting and approach shots where it is possible to practice and improves a range of tee to green skills.  No tokens required – a £1 coin will get you a bucket of 20 balls or you can save money by buying our Digi Cards at the Pro Shop when open or with the Bar staff in the Clubhouse.
