Theale Golf Centre

18 golf course, driving range, short game practice area, warm & friendly welcoming clubhouse

The course at Theale was designed and constructed by owner Mike Lowe and completed in 1996.

Set in 150 acres of the Berkshire Countryside, part of Englefield Estate, this young yet quickly established 18 hole golf course offers and interesting and enjoyable challenge for golfers of all abilities.

This family run proprietary golf club is renowned for it's relaxed atmosphere and friendly welcome.

The course is being improved year on year and the clubhouse has recently undergone an extension, giving the club the much needed space to host larger functions.

The layout of the course is regularly complimented and the course boasts exceptional drainage making Theale Golf Club one of the few courses in the area that is playable throughout most weather conditions and results in very rare trolley bans.

Over the years there has been seldom use of temporary tees or greens with summer tees and greens being playable all year round.

This gently undulating, parkland course is deceptively challenging. Holes vary in length from 154 to 159 yards off the yellow tees and 139 to 452 off the red tees. Numerous hazards ensure that a game at Theale remains interesting throughout.

With the 9th and 18th holes both finishing close to the clubhouse, you can enjoy a short stroll to our friendly clubhouse for a refuel or a relaxing wind down.
