Antrobus Golf Club

The 6,220 yard parkland course proves a real test due to the many water features. The par 71 course will catch out many. 24 bay driving range, practice bunker, putting green, a welcoming clubhouse and Snooker room.
Set in the heart of the beautiful Cheshire countryside, the course has been cleverly designed and built around existing natural features. The plentiful water hazards and wooded areas add to the challenge. Off the back tees even the better golfers will feel the pressure, with narrow fairways and well protected greens.

Antrobus requires more in your bag than a big driver, and whilst off the normal tees the course is relatively short, it will certainly bite back at anything off-line, or short in the case of the 8th, our famous par 3 that requires a stout heart and a firm strike to carry the vast expanse of water in front of the green.

The course plays to a distance of 6,120 yards from the white tees to a par of 71. There are four par 5s, all testing in their own way, five par 3s and the remainder a selection of varied par 4s. All areas of your game will be examined, though there is no doubt that one of the pre-requisites for scoring well at Antrobus is the ability to position your ball off the tee. Being long is not necessarily an advantage here, but being straight certainly is.

Antrobus also has its own driving range, with 10 bays under cover. There is also a practice bunker adjacent to the driving range and a practice putting green next to the clubhouse.
