Forest Hill Golf Club

18 Hole Golf Course, Driving Range
orest Hill Golf & Conference Centre is situated in The National Forest, spectacular at any time of year especially in autumn. The National Forest is transforming 200 square miles of Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire; steadily turning what was once one of the least wooded parts of England into a sustainable forest for the 21st Century and beyond. Part of the woodland planted around the golf course was created under the Changing Landscape Scheme, funded by the National Forest Company.

The undulating fairways and natural hazards need careful negotiation. This is a real golfers course for high handicappers and pros alike.

The 18 hole golf course occupies an undulating semi-wooded landscape (forming part of the National Forest) that provides a mature setting for golf.

The course opened for play in 1991, but was extended to its current layout during 2006. The course now extends to 6,513 yards (par 73) from the white tees arranged in two loops of 9 holes, with the 10th tee and the 9th and 18th greens starting and finishing at the clubhouse, with the 1st tee within a short walk.

The course comprises four par 3’s, nine par 4’s, and five par 5’s. Water in the form of streams or lakes comes into play on 12 of the 18 holes.
