Barlborough Llinks Golf Club
9 Hole Golf Course, 11 Bay Floodlit Driving Range, Foot Golf 9 Hole Course, Carp Fishing
The course was taken over by the current owners in June 2016 who continue to work hard and make Barlborough Links the best 9 hole course in the area. New regular cutting regimes, newer equipment and a greens management programme are helping to keep the course in good shape. USGA spec greens mean summer greens are in play all year round. Regular rotation of grass tees also means we try and stay on grass for as long as possible, only moving to mats when absolutely necessary.
A 9 hole par 35 FootGolf course was installed in July 2016 and provides an ideal place for young and old to take their first steps into the principles of golf using a football.
March 2017 saw the opening of a new Reception and small coffee shop housed within the existing driving range, offering 11 covered Bays with Floodlighting offering practice into darkness. A small selection of hot/cold drinks and chocolate are currently available.
Consistent opening hours in Reception are restoring the faith of previous customers who weren't sure when the course or range would be open!
Free coaching on Wednesday evenings (6 - 8pm) with our PGA Qualified Class AA Head Professional, Andy Carnall are proving very popular and are generally busiest from 6-7pm. You only pay for your basket of balls - the coaching is completely free.
Junior free coaching commenced in February 2019 and takes place every Monday from 4:30 - 5:30pm. Mirroring our Wednesday evening free coaching, simply buy a basket of balls - the coaching and club hire is free. Suitable for age 6+ and parental supervision is required. please see our website www.barlboroughlinksgolfclub.co.uk/coaching for further information and conditions.
Our carp pond is well stocked and fishing memberships are £160 per year.
