18 Hole Par72 Parkland Course, Practice Facilities Include Range & Short Game Area

A warm welcome awaits the visiting golfer at Douglas Golf Club - a club famous for its challenging and enjoyable golf course with stunning views over Cork City and Cork Inner Harbour.

Douglas Golf Club was founded in 1909, with the original course being designed by golfing legend and six time British Open winner, Harry Vardon. The course was then extended and altered by celebrated course architect of Augusta National, Alister MacKenzie, in 1924.

Douglas Golf Club Voted 'Best Parkland Course in Munster' for 2019.

Golfers Guide to Ireland

The course is kept in immaculate condition all year round and is widely renowned for having some of the best kept greens in Ireland. Set on a plateau overlooking Cork City and Inner Harbour, Douglas Golf Club offers spectacular views from both the golf course and the clubhouse. The surrounding 115 acres of century old woodland provide the course with a secluded and relaxing atmosphere that is rare for its central location.

In addition to playing the course, visitors can enjoy full use of the clubhouse facilities. Our dining room, bar and meeting rooms can cater for any event. The golf shop also provides a wide range of golf clothing and equipment.

Situated a mere 5 minute drive from both Cork City centre and Cork airport, Douglas Golf Club is the perfect venue for your next golf outing.

Practice Facility

Douglas Golf Club boasts a top of the range practice facility to help keep your swing in shape. The facility incorporates 250 yards of range with accurate yardage markers. You can choose to hit from the finely kept turf or the synthetic surface during the winter months. Range balls are available through the Pro Shop.

You can also sharpen up your putting, chipping, pitching and bunker-play in our dedicated Short Game Areas.
