Bedford & County Golf Club

18 Hole Parkland Par70 Course, Indoor Performance Centre, Pro Shop

Widely acknowledged as one of Bedfordshire’s premier courses, Bedford & County Golf Club is set in
glorious countryside and is a testing and supremely well-presented course with superbly paced greens.

Only 3 miles and 10 minutes from Bedford town centre you are transported to the tranquility of a course that has been carefully developed over the past 100 years.

Our parkland course measuring 6,420 yards off the white tees (par 70) and 5,641 yards off the Ladies tees (par 73) is both an absorbing challenge and a relaxing retreat for golfers of all standards.

We look forward to offering you a very warm welcome at our golf club in the near future.

Just minutes from the ancient market town of Bedford, in the rolling hills of the north Bedfordshire countryside, is a golf course steeped in over a 100 years of history.

Playing its part in both World Wars and having connections with some of the great names of golf, it is a course that provides as much of a challenge today as it did back in the early 1900’s. In those distant days it was just a few primitive fenced-off greens on the Clapham Park Estate farm. Today it is a real testament to the on-going development of this jewel of a course. 50 years of continuous investment and development has resulted in the course being playable year-round; a course that provides a challenge to players of all abilities; a clubhouse designed around the needs of the members; and a richly deserved reputation as both a friendly and welcoming golf club.
