18 Hole Course

Located near Didcot, South Oxfordshire, the golf course at Hadden Hill Golf Club has a full-length course measuring 6,563 yards from the men’s competition tees, laid over gently undulating parkland with wonderful views on the back 9 over the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The course has over thirty miles of underground drainage and each bunker has a drain underneath it, so even in mid-winter the bunkers are ‘playable’.

The greens are of an exceptionally high standard and the whole course is extremely well maintained by our excellent greenkeepers and playable throughout the year. The greens are built on a ‘stone layer’ and the growing medium is 70% sand to allow for quick drainage and fine grass.

The course was designed by Michael Morley and built to the highest specification. The front nine holes opened in May 1990 with the second nine opening in June 1991. The return of each 9 to the Clubhouse make this the perfect course for doing either just 9 or the full 18. The 6 hole par 3 course opened in summer 2008 offering yet another option for all levels of golfer.

Par 3 Course

All visitors are welcome on the course.

Opened in the summer of 2008, our 6 hole, par 3 course holes vary in length, from 110 to 170 yards, and the greens built to the same high-specification as our main 18 hole course. The course also includes sufficient drainage to allow for year round play.

The total cost of the project came to £250,000, with contribution from Sports/Golf England in the form of a partial grant, sharing our belief that the course would be a great asset to the club in developing young and new golfers and getting them involved in this wonderful game.

There is no need to book, just turn up and play. We can provide golf balls, clubs and tees for you to hire and hope you enjoy the facilities we have to offer.

Driving Range

Our floodlit driving range has twenty covered bays and are open to the public every day, perfectly suitable for every type of golfer - from beginner to professional.

We provide top grade 2 piece Srixon Range balls for more realistic practice.

UK FootGolf Association

Established in 2012, the UKFGA are the National Governing Body for the sport of FootGolf within the UK, They are sanctioned by the Federation for International FootGolf (FIFG) as the approved body for organizing FootGolf in the UK.

FootGolf has been the UK’s fastest growing and most talked sport for the past 2 years. There are now over 200 certified golf courses offering FootGolf across the UK. There are more than 60,000 member players registered with the UKFGA, and more than 30,000 people playing the sport every week.

The UKFGA, have implemented a National Tour for 2016, with more than £30,000 of prize money on offer. The 2016 UK Open (Stage 11 of the 2016 European Tour) is likely to be the most attended event of the 2016 season, with more than 200 participants from across the world. The UKFGA will also be holding the inaugural "Four Nations Event” pitting England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland against each other for the very first time.

FootGolf At Hadden Hill

At Hadden Hill Golf Club, we have adapted our par 3 course to create a 9 hole FootGolf course. The object of the game is to get the size 5 football into the hole, in the least amount of shots.
