Cruden Bay Golf Club

18 Hole Par70 Championship Course, 9 Hole Par64 Course, Pro Shop

A Unique and Unforgettable Experience

Cruden Bay is situated on the east coast of Scotland 23 miles north of Aberdeen, 8 miles south of Peterhead and only a two hour drive from St Andrews, the "Home of Golf”.

The Course offers an internationally famous golfing experience – old fashioned links golf at its best – on one of the best links courses in Scotland. Creating unique challenges demanding the skills of power, placement and fine judgement upon the discerning golfer.

Set against a backdrop of subtly contoured greens and magnificent panoramic views, our Course truly justifies the accolades it receives.

In November 2015 we were presented with the Scottish Golf Tourism Award for the top Course in Scotland (£50 – £100 Category), and in 2017 we were finalists in two of the categories at the awards, Best Customer Service (2nd year in a row) and Best Catering and in 2018 again a finalist for Best Catering. In 2019 we were a finalist for top course between £100 and £150

We are a warm and very welcoming Club that caters for both members and visiting golfers from across the globe.  Our team look forward to providing you with a unique experience and promise you that your visit to Cruden Bay will not only be one to remember but one we are sure you will want to repeat.

Visitors are made very welcome at Cruden Bay Golf Club seven days a week. We are very proud of our Club and welcome the opportunity to share our Golf Course and Clubhouse facilities with visiting golfers.  We don’t have an online booking facility available, for enquiries and reservations please contact our bookings secretary at elaine@crudenbaygolfclub.co.uk  or call us on +44(0) 1779 812285.

In addition  to the Main Course we have our 9 hole St Olaf Course which is very popular with members and visiting players and is available most days. There is no extra charge for 9 holes on our St Olaf Course if played on the same day as our Main Course or even the day before or the day after.

For Non- golfers we have a spectacular golden sandy beach running parallel to the Course with views of Slains Castle which sits high on the cliffs above the village and is only a 15 minute walk. The North East fishing town of Peterhead is only 15 mins drive where the Prison Museum is worth a visit. Travelling on to Balmoral the Queen’s summer residence is only 1hr 15 mins.
