10 Hole (18 Tee) Course, Practice Facilities

Located in beautiful parkland adjacent to Oakerthorpe Woods and offers not only superb views across local countryside but also a well kept and challenging layout that can be appreciated by all levels of golfer. Our greens are among the best in the county.

Visitors and Societies are very welcome to sample the course and hospitality of Alfreton Golf Club. Many of our visiting Societies have become old ‘friends’ returning year after year.

The club has a thriving ladies section with regular competitions on Tuesday, Thursday and several weekends. Our junior section is a great success with competitions on Thursday evenings.

Mens competitions run throughout the year on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. There is also a comprehensive programme of mixed golf.

Towards the end of 2019 we moved to a new course layout that incorporates a new par 5 as the third and thirteenth holes, adding around 500 yards to the course.

You will now start your round on the ‘old 10th’ tee which is situated behind the Clubhouse and green keepers workshop.
