Ashbourne Golf Club

18 Hole Par71 Course, Pro Shop

Ashbourne Golf Club is Derbyshire's oldest private members' club founded in 1886 which exists for the enjoyment of its members and guests.

With an active membership of around 500, there is a special focus on providing a positive and welcoming environment for ladies and gentlemen of all ages and abilities, including juniors and beginners. The aim is to help all members to improve and enjoy their golf.

The Course

With spectacular views towards Dovedale and the Peak District, only a mile from the centre of Ashbourne, the course is set in open countryside but is easily accessible from the A50 and the A52. The course in its present form was designed by the well-known golf course architect, David Hemstock, and was opened in 1999, although parts of it go back much earlier.

Ashbourne GC is consistently rated in the top 3 courses in Derbyshire.

The white course measures 6,306 yards, with a par of 71. For ladies, it is 5,402 yards and par 72. The course is well drained and is open in all but the most extreme weather conditions. It offers a fair challenge to golfers of all abilites.
