Moor Hall Golf Club

18 Hole Par70 Parkland Course, Pro Shop, Swing Studio
The Club is set in the heart of Sutton Coldfield on the north eastern outskirts of Birmingham. This central position makes access from the motorway system very simple.  Visitors are attracted from outside the Midlands and many return time and again to experience not only the attractions of the course but also to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and warm welcome that awaits in the clubhouse.

There are several hotels in Sutton Coldfield and within Moor Hall Park, adjacent to the Golf Club, is the separately owned 4-star Best Western Moor Hall Hotel and Spa.  This is highly recommended for an overnight stay.

The Course

This mature parkland Golf Course was designed initially in 1932 by Messrs, Hawtree and Taylor, who at the time were one of the prominent golf course architects. In 2018 the club decided to completely redevelop the Golf Course and employed the world renowned golf course Architects McKenzie and Ebert, who are responsible for developing some of the worlds most famous open championship courses. Tom McKenzie`s design relocated every bunker and provided subtle but significant run off areas to challenge every level of golfer. This half a million pound investment was completed in April 2020. `

The course is recognised for always being in excellent condition with fantastic tree lined fairways and wonderful greens. Whether you are playing from the back tees or the front tees, this is recognised as one of the best tests of golf in the Midlands, creating a great balance of difficulty and reward for every level of golfer. You will need to score well on the front nine as the last 6 holes are a great challenge for everyone.
