Carholme Golf Club

18 Hole Par68 Course, Tuition

Carholme Golf Club is the oldest golf club in Lincolnshire and is situated within the City of Lincolnshire boundaries measuring at 5577 yards. This par 68 layout is kept in spectacular condition all year round thanks to fantastic natural drainage. The course provides a nice variety of holes in several directions. The course uses the likes of water hazards and tree lined fairways to keep golfers guessing and provide a nice variation to each hole. Golfers of all abilities will enjoy this challenge. The clubhouse features a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Visiting golfers should make sure to avail of the excellent bar and catering services on offer at Carholme Golf Club.

The course is not long, but is quite tricky with a few left and right dog legs. The majority of holes are straight but the fairways are narrow in places. The course is suitable for players of all levels.

Founded in 1906 the club rules state ” The objects of the Club are to provide for its members the facility for playing the game of golf, the means of social intercourse, mutual helpfulness and recreation”, and its as true today as it was then.

Carholme Golf Club is an 18-hole course situated on Lincoln’s West Common, designated as an area of critical asset and nature conservation importance with superb views of the Lincoln Cathedral and surrounding areas
