Sutton Bridge Golf Club
Sutton Bridge Golf Club is a fine nine hole members’ club, established in 1914, and located in and around an abandoned late 19th century dock basin adjacent to the River Nene in South Lincolnshire.
The club is keen to attract more visitors and members. We believe that a nine hole course is ideally suited to 'busy people' providing as it does the opportunity to 'play the game in half the time!'
There is no other golf course like Sutton Bridge anywhere in the country, and one which is a joy to play.
Established in and around an abandoned Victorian dock, the 15 foot high falls come into play on seven of the nine holes including the par-four 7th where one wall crosses the fairway at right angles to provide a stiff test from the tee. For more information go to ‘History’.
The club offers a wide range of membership options including age-related discounts; first year membership discounts; trial memberships as well as the opportunities for beginners ‘to get into golf’. The club is keen to encourage ‘family membership’ in the coming months with ‘open days’ to interest all ages. See ‘Membership’ for more.
Visiting golfers are especially welcome at Sutton Bridge, and for a relatively small fee are able to play a memorable golf course. Golfing packages are available for visiting groups, and similar arrangements can be made for the basic four-ball. We cater for 2for1s; county cards; S.Lincs. League cards, and our members are encouraged to invite friends at a discount. go to ‘Green Fees’.
