Warrington Golf Club was founded in 1903 and is located on the south side of the town. Being positioned at the highest point in Warrington, it affords fine views of the local area as well as the Pennines and Welsh hills.
Improvements to the course and its woodland areas have created a course that is both a challenging test of golf and an enjoyable experience for members and visitors. The imposing clubhouse also has excellent bar and catering services for the hungry and thirsty golfer at the end of a round.

Situated less than a mile from the M56, Warrington Golf Club is easy to find and an excellent choice for the visiting golfer. The heathland course is noted for its natural surroundings, including fine views of Lancashire, Cheshire and the Welsh hills.
The course measures 6,216 yards, par 71 for men and 5,709 yards, par 73 for ladies and is a fair and enjoyable test for any level of golfer. The superb drainage makes play possible for 52 weeks of the year.
